Iced Latte

It isn’t very often that I drink something other than water or coffee. I don’t drink a lot of soda and I used to drink a lot of iced tea but I kicked that habit too. I don’t usually post drink recipes on here because, well, how hard can a drink be? But … this drink tastes like Kahlua (!!!) and I think everyone needs to try it. A Stiff Avocado Drink

Not so much a fan of the avocado. I don’t hate it, I just never buy it and aside from salad, don’t know what to do with it. This recipe however, is a bit of a turning point. Excellent for breakfast, lunch or dessert, or even a tasty and filling snack. You can use a food processor, blender or immersion blender. My man is an avid avocado hater and he surprisingly enjoyed it. That should tell you something!

Breakfast In A Glass

This smoothie is very filling and easy to make last minute on those mornings that you just don’t have time. Dump everything in a blender or a food processor and voila – breakfast. The original recipe called for wheat germ to add texture and fibre but in the interest of making it gluten free, I have changed it to oat flour. See the notes. Nothing but healthy in a glass.
